CHANGER Presented at AFDM Conference | FR

The CHANGER project was presented at the annual conference of the French Academy of Legal Studies in Business (AFD&M), held in Lille on 12 & 13 December 2023. The presentation was delivered by Marina Markellou, representing the University of Groningen (RUG), partner in the CHANGER project.

As the leader of Work Package 5 (WP5) – Generation of impact and transferability of new models, operational tools, and approaches for Research Ethics Committees (RECs) – RUG plays a crucial role in promoting policy choices that support the adoption and dissemination of innovative ethics review approaches across the European Research Area (ERA).

During her presentation, Mrs Markellou outlined the primary objectives and scope of the CHANGER Project, provided an overview of its Work Packages, and highlighted the progress achieved so far. The audience gained valuable insights into how the project is working to foster transformative ethics review models at European, national, and institutional levels.

AFD&M is a scientific event providing an unprecedented opportunity to discuss the most resilient development models, adapted to current global dynamics. Its aim is to suggest ways of adapting, anticipating, and responding to these new challenges. The CHANGER Project’s participation at this conference marks an important step in raising awareness and fostering collaboration on ethical research practices within the academic and business law communities.
