Conference | Ethics by Design: Shaping Secure Innovations

The CHANGER project participated in the online conference Ethics by Design: Shaping Secure Innovations on 24 October 2024. The event was organised by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – ITECH Institute of Innovation and Technology, the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics (INCET) at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland and the Institute for National and International Security (INIS).

Mrs Konstantina Giouvanopoulou, of partner NCSR Demokritos, presented on behalf of the CHANGER project an abstract titled The Need for an Ethics and Research Security by Design Approach – authors: Konstantina Giouvanopoulou, Vasiliki Mollaki, Xenia Ziouvelou, Jeanne Mifsud Bonnici, Ana Marusic, Marjo Rauhala, Matthias Kaiser, Vangelis Karkaletsis. The CHANGER project advocates for the adoption of an integrated ethics-and-research security-by-design approach to AI-related research, aiming to promote responsible innovation by embedding ethical principles and research security measures directly into the research design process.
