CHANGER project coordinator, National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSR D), and more specifically, Vicky Mollaki, Scientific Associate at NCSR D and Ethics Expert for the European Commission, introduced the CHANGER Project during the ERA sharing for National Contact Points (NCPs) Exchange visits and mutual learning on Open science, IP, and RMAs – Second exchange visit programme event, which was held on 13-14 December 2023, in Athens Greece.

Focused on Open Science, Intellectual Property (IP), and Research and Innovation Management Agendas (RMAs), the event provided an ideal platform for the presentation of the CHANGER Project. More specifically, Vicky Mollaki presented an overview of the project, outlining its main objectives and vision during the second day of the event, in session 3 titled Discussing with project beneficiaries / coordinators.

CHANGER is a three-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon WIDERA programme, aiming to promote changes in research ethics reviews by strengthening the capacities of researchers to incorporate ethical judgements in the project design and implementation, and by supporting ethics committees to address new challenges posed by new technologies and new research practices.
