The CHANGER project participated at the biannual meeting of the Network of Ethics Committees in the Social Sciences (neks), held on June 27, 2025 at Munich, Germany.

CHANGER was presented by partner, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) team, Anna Huber, Nevien Kerk and Hella von Unger. The presentation introduced the project’s aims, its partner institutions, and current activities. Special attention was given to recent progress in the development of practical tools and the implementation of pilot workshops.

Τhis neks network meeting provided a space for members to discuss recent developments in ethics review practices across the social sciences. The programme featured updates on current ethical debates, reports from working groups, and presentations of ongoing projects addressing related concerns.

Overall, the event facilitated valuable dialogue, reflection, and collaboration across institutions and disciplines. It highlighted the ongoing need for critical engagement with research ethics and review processes, particularly in the context of qualitative social research.
