Sharing innovative approaches to ethics review with the STRATEGIC project
On 7 October 2026, the CHANGER project contributed to a webinar organised in the framework of the EU-funded STRATEGIC project, sharing insights into innovative approaches and practical instruments for research ethics review.
The presentation, entitled “The CHANGER Toolkit: Adaptable and Reflexive Instruments for Ethics Reviews,” introduced the CHANGER Toolkit and its approach to supporting more flexible, reflective, and context-sensitive research ethics review practices. Developed within the CHANGER project, the Toolkit brings together instruments designed to support researchers and research ethics professionals in navigating the evolving ethical challenges of contemporary research. By promoting adaptability and reflexivity, it encourages approaches that respond to the specific characteristics and ethical complexities of different research contexts.
The webinar provided an opportunity to introduce CHANGER’s work to the STRATEGIC project community and contribute to knowledge exchange between European research initiatives working on research ethics and responsible research practices. This dissemination activity also highlighted opportunities for further collaboration and synergies between CHANGER and STRATEGIC, supporting the wider visibility and potential uptake of innovative approaches to research ethics review.
